'givingabit' is a free service funded by our partner retailers. Our service enables both individuals & communities, such as businesses, families & friends to support you through online shopping, at no cost to you or your supporters. An average donation can raise 3% of their shopping basket total.

As a charity, school, club, trust or good cause based in the UK, givingabit could provide you with a steady flow of donations every time your supporters shop on line. You can even have your own branded shopping mall!

You can see the total amount raised & how much each community is raising for you.
We make all our charity payments to registered charities through Charities Aid Foundation, providing security & peace of mind. Payments are made monthly, (as we believe it is better in your account than ours), with zero deductions from your donations to cover bank charges. Why should you pay?!! To ensure we can do this, a minimum donation payment of £5 is in place, if £5 has not been raised, it just rolls over to the next month until at least £5 has been reached.
Rest assured - all monies that we have received, regardless of amount, are transferred to our Charities Aid Foundation bank account. This means the money is ringfenced for charities, and we cannot take this money out - we can only transfer to charities.
If you are a registered UK Charity, we will make your payments via Charities Aid Foundation, & will not require your banking details - but please ensure you submit your charity number.
If you are not a registered charity but a good cause, you will need to submit sort code & account number so we can pay you, and also your VAT details if applicable. The site is SSL secure and your bank details are kept on secure bank servers.
